Job Opening for Field Appraiser
The Moore County Appraisal District is accepting applications for the position of Field Appraiser. Responsibilities include office and fieldwork associated with the appraisal of residential, commercial, rural and personal property.
This position requires a valid Texas driver’s license and an excellent driving record. The position will require registration with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations, and applicants must complete a 3-5 year education process (paid for by the District) specific to obtaining the required Registered Professional Appraiser (RPA) designation.
Applicants must have excellent organizational skills, computer skills, mathematical skills and effective communication and people skills. A pleasant, positive personality and good work ethics are necessary.
Applicants must also have a high school diploma or equivalent. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, paid vacation and sick leave. Salary is contingent upon education, experience and qualifications. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
